Sorry Jim, but we can't confirm with Aster at the moment. Still working on a Mpls visit in October. Stay tuned. -Slaid
Change it now. Then read the manual to see how often you should change.
We’re hoping to see you again at Club Cafe in Pittsburgh next month!
I’ll be in Austin (for the first time) this Saturday night, all day Sunday, and for a little while on Monday. Do you have a recommendation or 2 on venues, performers, or local places I should check out while I’m in town?
I recommend you squeeze in as many of these as you are able to:
Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden
Gospel-ish brunch w/ the Purgatory Players
Backstage at El Mercado
Conjunto los Pinkys
Sam's Town Point
Soul of a Musician Series presents Billy Harvey
Radio Coffee & Beer
Indeed we have made T-shirts for each of the past four releases, but they sell out quick! We are working on some new merch for the July Tour. Thanks for the input. -Slaid
Hey Jim, We are waiting on Aster: astercafe.com/events/ As soon as they post tickets, we'll put a link on our site. Thanks -Slaid
Slaid, I really enjoyed hearing your show at the Saxon last Thanksgiving. Thanks. Rachel Baiman was recently in southern Oregon and she played us a version of Rustbelt fields. I think you should record it with her on her next album. She is an exceptional musician with a beautiful voice and did your tune some major justice. I cannot emphasize that enough. I have nothing to prove it other than memory. Rachel is in Nashville but by the way, where are you living now?
Thanks for writing. Ms Baiman is certainly very talented, and I'd love to hear her version of Rust Belt Fields some day. Cheers -Slaid
Ah yes. I was going for the feel-good hit of the summer, then. We'll go back to the UK as soon as we have a new batch of songs. Working on it. Cheers, Slaid
Hi Slaid, I'm hoping to see you in Albuquerque in June 2019. I just recently discovered your music and it brought me back home instantly. Still fighting the war is without a doubt a short and insightful gift to the veterans of this great country. My brothers in arms and I thank you for it. Do you think you could play it when you come to Albuquerque? Thank you and take care.
Hi Ernest, So glad you found my music, especially that song. It means the world to me that it is getting to the right people and doing some good. I will definitely play Still Fighting the War in Albuquerque on the 27th. Thanks -Slaid
All righty, Ed. I've put it on the calendar. Might have to google the lyrics the day before to brush up on that one. Cheers, Slaid
