I have seen you perform from PA to Maine, but I'm hoping to catch a Texas Show. I will be in San Antonio in November and would extend based on catching a show. Any idea when you would know your schedule and if you will be in Austin around November 12th ?
Hi Kathryn - Since I'm playing Austin on 11/23 and San Antonio (tent) on 25, I most likely won't be playing those towns earlier in November, though I do have shows in the works in north Texas and Oklahoma in that time frame.

I'm studying at the university of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) and am currently writing my Master thesis about the (re)functionalization of songs from the Vietnam War period to Iraq. I am planning of including "Still fighting the war" in my analysis (I hope you don't mind). In an interview you stated that you were inspired by your co-writer Ron Coy, who told you the story of a Vietnam veteran. So my question is twofold:
1. Why did you change the setting from Vietnam to Iraq?
2. Do you see any differences/parallels between Vietnam veterans and Iraq veterans? Particularly with regard to their treatment?
I would really appreciate a reply.
Thx in advance.
Glad to hear you are coming back to GA this July. Please try and make a stop in Athens, GA while you are hear. I think you would do great at the Foundry or Georgia Theatre in Athens - Bob DicksonSlaid Cleaves responded on 02/24/2016
