Slaid and Karen...just wanted to thank you both for a great.experience last night at the Me and Thee in Marblehead. Getting to hear Slaid sing Texas Love Song live was worth the price of admission alone. And thank you to Slaid for introducing me to Don Walser's music...I just listened to Rolling Stone from Texas on YouTube, and can't wait to explore his catalog. Still looking for a cassette player to check out The Promise. Karen, it was a pleasure to talk with you after the show. (Sorry about the playlist).
Glad you've found ol' Don Walser, one of my all time favorite people. Good luck with the cassette. Take care.
We loved, loved, loved your show in Gardiner last night! David wanted to suggest a song idea, because he has been trying to think of who could write a song about the sinking of El Faro that would stand up to the likes of Gordon Lightfoot's wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, or Jimmy Dean's song of Big John. After listening to you do Breakfast in Hell, he thinks you are the man.
Thanks for the great show; the last song was a great way to close a perfect night.

When you were at the Turning Point in Piermont Wednesday night May 10th, you played a song that referred to getting a paycheck. What is the name of that song, and is it on one of your albums that I can purchase. Liked it a lot.Slaid Cleaves responded on 05/11/2017
