Hey Slaid... Ed Snodderly here and hoping all is going well. Look forward to hearing your new songs. Would be great to have you return to The Down Home sometime. Would you mind sharing with me who you're working with for Radio and publicity.
Trying to get back to Austin sometime. I hear Bill Kirchen is having some fun on Monday nights. I haven't been in town since La Zona Rosa. Law law.
All the best,
Hey Ed, long time! I'm working with Leslie Rouffe at Songlines for radio and Tyler Cannon in Austin for publicity. Good folks. Yes, El Mercado on Monday nights is the place to be. The Down Home is still on my map, just hasn't worked routing wise lately. Would love to come back some time.
Hi Slaid, Any plans on coming back to the Uptown in LaSalle, IL? It would be great to see you again. You always put on a great show there!!Slaid Cleaves responded on 07/04/2017 Next question
Hey slaid, I live around 30 miles southeast of louisville kentucky in spencer county. Just 15 miles from where I live, there was once a town called Van Buren. It is now buried under taylorsville lake. It was flooded in the early 80's. Van buren was in anderson county. It was right by Crooked creek and in front of the Salt River. Crooked creek is the spencer-anderson line. I have pics of Van Buren before the lake buried it.Slaid Cleaves responded on 07/12/2017
