Mr. Cleaves. I am a guitar player pretty damn good singer and a professional Whistler. I literally am the best whistle I have ever met. People are astonished by my whistles. Anywho. I met you once in San Marcos, Tx. I'm so glad I did too. I know you won't remember me, but it was at Cheatham Street Wearhouse. I used to perform the songwriters circle there for a bit. I want you to know that the first album I got my hands on was the Unsung album. You have to know that the way you covered those songs on your album was legend. I have covered two of them since 2009. Them when I met you you were selling your "Everything You Love Will Be There Away" so I bought it. Oh I also play Saxaphone. ADHD severely. I'm gonna do what I've done since I was very little and believe in my myself and ask you to call me. 7377036570. You are my favorite stand alone musician and I would run like a chicken with it's head cut off following so I can play/write with the legend of my lifetime. I have a son.Pleasecall
I don't much like talking on the phone. But you can ask me questions here all day.
I was saying I have a son cause me and his mother split before he was born. It wasn't my choice. I do have a choice though and that's to do great things with music. It's in my blood and soul. If I didn't at least try to reach out to you then I wouldn't have been following my dreams and that's not something I want my son struggling with when he's my age; wondering if you just give up on dreams cause they are improbable. I want him to see me chasing them. I can explain more when and if you call. If I don't answer it's cause I'm from the boonies and I don't get the best service. if you leave a voicemail I'll call back, I'll call back blown away and and happier than I truthfully have ever been; I can say that with 100% certainty.Slaid Cleaves responded on 08/23/2017 Next question
I messaged you on Facebook right after I posted this. That way I could be in more detail considering the character limit on this forum.Slaid Cleaves responded on 08/24/2017
