Yes! Talking to Hugh's Room about a show in May. Stay tuned . . .
Thanks for the Tommy Luther post. You play that whenever I see you in PA. I'm the little guy (ex-jockey) who owns the horse farm. Can't wait to see you again. Richard Simoff. Rnojunkmailaol.comSlaid Cleaves responded on 01/17/2018 Next question
My wife and I own 7 acres on South Congress Avenue, in far south Austin. We have a couple of rescue horses, a dog, and a cat, all rescues. We also rescued a hundred year old barn on the back of the property, where my friends and I, The Friday Night Jam Society, get together and play once a month or so. It's a cool place, sort of our own private Luchenbach, but because we've never opened it to the public, a real secret gem. My question is, would you consider playing a small venue like that? It's small but would accommodate 50 or so. Thanks for what you do. It's so special and personal. I just learned your song Rust Belt Fields. It absolutely blew me away. So very appropriate for what's happening today. My best friend, Gary, and I know a large portion of your catalog and are so grateful to you for what you've given us, and continue to give.Slaid Cleaves responded on 01/20/2018
