My wife and I own 7 acres on South Congress Avenue, in far south Austin. We have a couple of rescue horses, a dog, and a cat, all rescues. We also rescued a hundred year old barn on the back of the property, where my friends and I, The Friday Night Jam Society, get together and play once a month or so. It's a cool place, sort of our own private Luchenbach, but because we've never opened it to the public, a real secret gem. My question is, would you consider playing a small venue like that? It's small but would accommodate 50 or so. Thanks for what you do. It's so special and personal. I just learned your song Rust Belt Fields. It absolutely blew me away. So very appropriate for what's happening today. My best friend, Gary, and I know a large portion of your catalog and are so grateful to you for what you've given us, and continue to give.
Hi Chris, that sure sounds like a cool spot. Rust Belt Fields is a song I wrote with my old buddy Rod Picott. Watch out for his new one coming out soon. Karen handles all the booking stuff. She's a tough cookie, but you might be able to work something out with her: firstname.lastname@example.org
