Slaid:
I saw you at The Tractor when you came through Seattle this summer. I wanted to do the shake and howdy after the show but had to leave because the next day was Monday and a 5:30 wake up call. I loved your show and was especially moved by your rousing version of Rolling Stone From Texas. I am a big Don Walker fan and did not realize he had been a mentor for you. I lived in Maine for a while. I wanted to ask you if you had heard of Yodeling Slim Clark! You did such an incredible job on the yodeling I figured you must have heard of him. I saw Yodeling Slim at a festivsl at Sugarloaf with Dick Curless, Fred Pike, Sam Tidwell and the Kennebec Valley Boys, Earl Scruggs, and Waylon back in 1975! Anyway, love your stories and Quick As Dreams ...Crilly Ritz

Dear Crilly Ritz - that sure is a cool name. Wish I could go back in time and see that festival. Someone gave me a Slim Clark cassette a long time ago, but I soon after lost it. Glad you made it to the show on a work night. -Slaid
